Saulo and Laura are a young, married couple from Oaxaca, who learned the art of textiles with handmade looms from their parents and grandparents. From an early age, both of them were raised to develop the fringes of the quilts and tablecloths, along with the basic techniques of operating a foot-treadle floor loom. Three years ago, Saulo and Laura founded their textile company where they employ more than twenty people. Their workshop features eight foot-treadle floor looms, five back strap looms, and eight sewing machines. Saulo and Laura’s essence is reflected in their designs and use of colors. Each piece is made with patience, woven with tenderness in the hopes of bringing peace and culture into your home.
