Cajete Center Piece - Barro Bordado Oaxaca

Bring the color of Mexico’s culture to your home or office with this original piece. Carefully curated by Artisan  Paty Gaytan from Santa Maria Atzompa, Oaxaca. Each flower is handcrafted and placed with care and passion to create beautiful patterns. 

The Cajete center piece is made with red clay with a coat of sealant inside. The flower designs (bordado) are made with natural clay or "pastillaje". 

You will absolutely love every detail of this amazing piece. Use it as a centerpiece alone or to put flowers inside  (you will require an additional cup for water, as this item is not designed to hold water. )

DO NOT PUT WATER DIRECTLY INTO THE ITEM USE A VASE TO HOLD WATER FOR YOUR FLOWERS.  DIRECT WATER MAY FILTER THROUGH THE CLAY AND ALTER THE COLORS OF THE DESIGN AND CLAY. 

USE A DRY CLOTH TO CLEAN THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE.
